Dimple Malloy Volentine, 90, of Morgantown, WV formerly of Homer, La. passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Monongalia General Hospital with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.Mrs. Volentine was born on June 23, 1920 in Athens, La. the eldest daughter of the late Will C. and Lilly Edwards Malloy.Mrs. Volentine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dr. Van Swearingen, with whom she had resided for the past eight years her grandchildren, Stephanie and husband Alan Beddow, and David Hall her great-grandchildren, Shelby, Alex and Olivia Hall and Caroline Beddow her sisters, Mildred and husband Zane Baker, Bea Girlinghouse and Mavis Anderson special nephew, Ronnie and his wife Toni Girlinghouse, as well as many other nieces, nephews, other family members and all who knew her.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wilson McCajah âRedâ Volentine in December of 2002.Services will be held at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 followed by burial in the Salem Cemetery in Athens, Rev. David Dietzel and Rev.
