John Francis Fleming, 66, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010, at his family farm in Aurora. John was born in Morgantown on September 19, 1944, the son of the late Leo W. Fleming Sr., and Ruth Montgomery Fleming.He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and attended Mt. Olivet Church in Lantz Ridge with his wife.John was the owner of the Book Exchange in Morgantown since 1976. He was a member of the Morgantown Rotary, the WVU Alumni Association and a member of the WVU Mountain Honorary. He is survived by his wife Anita Wiles Fleming, a son, Jonathan Fleming, a daughter, Felecia Fleming Wermuth and husband Brett of Colombia, SC, a sister Dolores OâBrian and a brother, Benjamin Fleming and wife Theresa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Fleming. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown from 3-5 & 7-9pm on Monday March 29, and from 10-11am on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11am with Dr. Rev. Ken A. Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Lantz Ridge.Donations may be made in Johnâs memory to the Mt. Olivet Church c/o Sharon Mersing, 3999 Lantz Ridge Road, Aurora, WV 26705.
