E. Darlene Cline, 66, of Fairview Avenue, Morgantown, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at her home.Darlene was born in Morgantown on February 2, 1943, the daughter of the late John Franklin and Catherine Nuttal West.She was a graduate of Morgantown High School.Darlene was employed by WVU where she retired from the Erickson Alumni Center. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and VFW Post 548. Darlene is survived by her children Keith A. Cline, Ralph L. Cline III, and Cathryne J. Phillippi, grandchildren E. Ashley Phillippi, Natasia E. Phillippi, and Jonathan A. Cline, her sisters, Cheryl Snyder and husband, Randy and Alice West. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. âBuddyâ Cline Jr. in 2006, a son-in-law, Jeffrey Phillippi, a daughter-in-law, Adrienne Moore Cline and a sister, Bonnie Kay West Snyder. Family will receive friends at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street Morgantown, WV on Tuesday June 30, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday July 1, from 9-10 A.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
