Betty L. Bane, 86, of Cassville, received her angel wings on Monday, November 21, 2016, at Mon General Hospital. She was born December 12, 1929 to the late Albert and Rosie Findo. She was the beloved mother of Patricia Jennings, Norma Bowser and Albert Bane, beloved sister to Mary Murphy (Jack), Carol Berry, Margaret Scafella (Raymond) and John Findo (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Rhonda Clarkson, Renee Testerman, Persley Bane, Willis Bane and Storey Thibault; great-grandchild, Adrianna Clarkson and step-great-grandchildren, Rowan, Holden, Gabriel and Lucas Testerman. She is also survived by, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Persley “Allen” Bane in 2013; sisters, Ethel Katsalis, Anna Henderson and Dorothy Trader; brothers, Frank and Louie Findo; sons-in-law, Ralph Jennings and Robert Bowser; brother-in-law, Dave Berry. Betty was a lifetime member of the Glen Oaks Church of Christ. Betty’s true love was caring for her home, her loving family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mom, you will be missed each and every day. You will never be more than a heartbeat away from your loving children. In keeping with Betty’s wishes cremation services were provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Saturday, November 26, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 (Noon) with Vernon Teagarden and Alan Williamson officiating.
