Agnes Ruth (Clark) Cook, 89, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, January 3rd at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born November 5, 1927 in Monongalia County, a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Rachel Turner Clark. Mrs. Cook enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing, sewing, crocheting, quilting, cooking, and canning. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, George L. Cook, Sr.; children, Patty Cook Ridgway (Tom), Damon Cook (Vikki), and George Cook, Jr. (Sandra); grandchildren, Natalie Ridgway and Daniel R. Cook; great granddaughters, Alexandra and Quinlin Cook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; her dog, Penny; and cats, Holly and Sambo. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Thursday, January 5th from 5-7 and again on Friday, January 6th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
