Obituary of Nancy Anne Sanders

Nancy Sanders, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hanover, PA on January 15, 1947, the daughter of the late Arthur Leo Weaver and Catherine S. Strickland. Nancy enjoyed fishing and all outdoor activities with family and friends as well as singing in the choir and serving as a Sunday School teacher at Faith Baptist church where she was a member for 20+ years. She worked as the dedicated Program Coordinator for the Global Health Program at WVU. Nancy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Charles Edward Sanders, Jr., and her children Joseph Wensell, James M. Wensell Jr., Jason A. Wensell, Morgan Sanders, Maureena Sanders, Honda Hill, Michael Sanders and Joseph Sanders; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 12-2PM and then 4-8PM. Visitation will continue at the Faith Baptist Church, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10AM until the time of service at 11AM with Pastor Treg Spicer officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
