Obituary of Mary Hazucha

Mary Hazucha, 95, of Morgantown passed away Saturday, 11-18-17 at Morgantown Health and Rehab Center. She was born October 12, 1922 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late John and Anna Holiday Lesnick.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Hansen and her husband Howard of Greenfield, MA and Margaret Hazucha of Morgantown; one son, Robert John Hazucha and his wife Sylvia of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Milena Nicholas, Douglas Hansen, Craig Hansen, and Heather Hazucha; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Hazucha, who passed away in 1976 and three sisters, Margaret Trompak, Anna Pinchuck, and an infant sister at birth and three brothers, Andy Wassick, Steve Wassick, and John Wassick.

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Friends and family will be received at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown on Friday, November 24th from 5-7 PM. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 6:30 PM to conclude the evening visitation. Visitation will continue in the church on Saturday, November 25th from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Rev. Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE as celebrant. Interment will take place at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
