Obituary of John Brinegar

John Allen Brinegar, 62, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Pittsburgh.

 

John was a loving and passionate husband and father.  He had a great love for food, and sports.  John’s greatest joy was to prepare wonderful meals for his loved ones. 

 

He is survived by wife of 37 years, Ruth Van Tol Brinegar, sons Michael Brett Brinegar and Benjamin John Brinegar, sisters Denise Ann Ballard (Richard) and Lisa Brinegar Wood (Daniel) and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

 

His parents, Woodrow Roland Brinegar and Anne Angotti Brinegar, precede him in death.

 

Friends and family will be received Saturday, Dec 16th, from 9 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1  Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati as Celebrant.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Ln., Morgantown, WV,  26508 or St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3334B University Ave., Morgantown, WV, 26505.
