Obituary of Linda Louise DeWitt

Linda Louise DeWitt, 74, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, 1-16-18 at her residence.  She was born September 18, 1943 in Ravenna, OH, a daughter of the late Leslie and Evelyn (Harris) Lawrentz. 

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House and the Bartlett House.  Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Terry Hunt and Sherry Burch and her husband Willis all of Morgantown; grandchildren, Tabitha Lynn Michael and her fiancé Patrick Wolfe; step grandchildren, Bryan and Cory Michael, Allie and Tabetha Burch; siblings, Patricia Clark and her husband Spencer and Rodney Lawrentz and his wife Harriet; two great grandchildren, Hannah Michael and Colton Wolfe.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Okey James DeWitt, Jr. and two siblings.  

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Monday, January 22^nd from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM with Pastor Mike Devor officiating.  Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
