Obituary of Virginia Sikora

Virginia Sikora, 99, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, January 25^th at her residence.  She was born October 3, 1918 in Preston County, a daughter of the late John and Mary Alice (Smith) Kapaldo. 

Mrs. Sikora retired from the Monongalia County School System and was formerly active with the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW.  In her free time, she loved to entertain her family.

She is survived by her siblings, Dorothy Burd and Wade, Jack, John, and Donald Kapaldo and was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sikora, Jr., who passed away in 1978 and several brothers and sisters.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown WV on Monday, January 29^th from 4-6 PM and again on Tuesday, January 30^th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.  Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
