Ada Mae Bellay

Ada Mae Welch Bellay, 78, Morgantown, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 peacefully at home. She was born on October 17, 1936, the daughter of the late William and May (Ray) Welch and was originally from Oakland, MD but made her home in Star City, WV. She was retired from the WVU Medical Center Library and was a member in good standing of the Service League of Morgantown. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael Bellay of Star City; one sister, Kathy Swartzentruber of South Carolina; one brother, Norman Welch of West Virginia; one daughter, Annie Welch of Star City; and two grandchildren, Mac and Sadie, both of Star City. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William (Billy) G. Welch and her sister, Susan (Susie) Q Welch. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Private family graveside services will take place at a later date at the Oakland Memorial Gardens in Oakland, MD.
