Adam James Deshler

Adam James Deshler, 45, of Morgantown, previously of Albuquerque, NM, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1975, in Walnut Creek, CA, son of Pete Deshler (San Ramon, CA) and Cherie Fenton (Albuquerque, NM). He was a proud Marine Corps. Veteran and worked as a bus driver for the Monongalia County Board of Education. In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jessica and his five children, LeeAnne Elizabeth Kersten (Albuquerque) and Eric Deshler, Rebekah Deshler, Kaitlyn Deshler, and Jack Deshler (of Morgantown); siblings, Eric (Albuquerque), Joe and Christine Deshler (San Ramon); stepmother, Diane Deshler (San Ramon) and stepfather, Norm Fenton (Albuquerque). In accordance with his wishes, Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory will provide cremation services after a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made in Adam's memory to the American Heart Association or Wounded Warrior Project.
