Adam Lawrence Mckinney

Adam Lawrence McKinney, 38, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer.

Adam was born in Morgantown, on September 2, 1983, the son of Robin Lynn (Franks) McKinney and the late Larry Fay McKinney.

Adam was a loving husband of 11 years and devoted father to three beautiful children. He loved being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending his time working with his hands doing projects around the house while listening to music.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy (Yam) McKinney; his three children: Lucas Sheung McKinney, Lily Choi McKinney, and Landon Kiu McKinney; his mother, Robin McKinney; sister; Amanda McKinney; in-laws, Sheung Wah Yam and Chung Wai Yam; brothers in-law, Larry Yam (wife, Flora Zhang) and Simon Yam; maternal grandparents, Harry Franks Jr., and Susanna Franks; and niece and nephew Madison and Ethan Yam.
In addition to his father, Larry McKinney, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard and June McKinney.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and again on Monday the 7th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery.
