Agnes Aileen Oliver

Agnes Aileen Oliver, 85, of Morgantown, entered into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 21, 2015 after a short illness. She was born in Walhalla, SC, on March 10, 1930, the daughter of the late Austin Lee and the late Lela (Orr) Lee. She is survived by her children, William Don Oliver and wife Linda of Morgantown, WV, Dennis Michael Oliver and wife Sharon of Athens, WV, Rev. Richard Lynn Oliver and wife Betty Lou of Bellevue, OH, and daughter-in-law Priscilla Oliver, wife of her son James Earl Oliver (deceased). She is also survived by her brothers Carl Lee, Ray Lee, and Jack Lee, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. William L. Oliver, her son James Earl Oliver, brothers Ervin Lee, Clarence Lee, Fayette Lee, and Ralph Lee, and sisters Viola Beaty and Ruth Edwards. She was a homemaker and lived her life caring for her husband, children, and large extended family. She loved vegetable and flower gardening, and spending time with her family. She was active in various church ministries, and especially enjoyed singing in the choir. Family and friends will be received at The Hastings Funeral Home, Morgantown WV, on Saturday, November 28 at 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Rev. Richard L. Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in East Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Memorial Fund of the C&MA Church, 308 Elmhurst St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
