Barbara Louise Nichols

Barbara Louise Nichols, 93, of Morgantown passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Stonerise Morgantown.

Barbara was born on March 6, 1929, the daughter of the late Lewis and the late Margaret Jordan, in Indianapolis, IN. She lived most of her life in northern and central Virginia.

Barbara was a people person; she never met a stranger. She was a secretary all her life, a career that she loved. She enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, and dressing fashionably.

Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Melanie Nichols and husband Paul White and Debra Martz and husband Richard Harris; son Steve Nichols; brother Conrad Jordan and wife Truth; grandson Nicolai Husareko; niece Sheryl Jordan, her child Angela Nunez and her grandchild Dyllyn Nunez; and nephew Glen Jordan.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her brother Cyrus Jordan of Asheville, North Carolina.

Cremation Arrangements are being provided by Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown, WV. A private graveside service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208 at a later date.
