Barbara Ann Shilling

Barbara Ann Shilling, age 72, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown. She was born November 7, 1951 in Hagerstown, MD, the daughter of the late Berkeley C. and Kathleen V. Shilling.

Barbara graduated from Morgantown High School in 1969. After high school she worked at many local businesses, including Morgantown Paint Company and Shilling Furniture and Carpet Center.

Barbara is survived by her brothers, Gordon Shilling and his wife Penny, Curtis Shilling and his wife Paula; nephews, Heath Shilling and wife Tressa, and Isaac, Eli and Sonya Shilling; nieces, Holly Stillwagoner, Emilla and Heather Shilling, as well as her life partner and caregiver, Patrick Brezito.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her in-law Clidetta Shilling, and nephew Nathan Shilling.

In keeping with her wishes, no public service will be held.

The family would like to thank Morgantown Hospice for their very special care during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, Barbara's last special request was for donations in her name to be sent to the "Nathan Shilling Scholarship Fund", 500 Mylan Park Lane, Morgantown, WV. 26501.
