Benjamin Christopher Price

Benjamin Christopher Price, 50, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. He was born on March 12, 1971, in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late George “Rick” Price of Morgantown and Shelia Hofer Voorhees of Morgantown.

Ben was a 1989 graduate of Morgantown High School. Growing up, Ben donated a lot of his time to the Special Olympics. Ben was very outgoing and loved to cook and entertain. He had a love for the water and boating. He enjoyed all types of music and sporting events, especially Pittsburgh Penguins and the Steelers. Ben also owned and operated Rhythm and Brews, a bar/restaurant in Morgantown for six years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two children, Jonavin Frederick Price, and Adlee Skye Price; his brother, Andrew Price; his maternal grandmother, Faye Hofer; and his nieces, Brooke Price, Krysta Price, and Miranda Price, all of Morgantown.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Price; his maternal grandfather, Ralph Hofer, and his paternal grandmother, Hilda Whitely.

The family will not be holding a public service.
