Bernard Alvin Seaman

Bernard Alvin “Bernie” Seaman, 77, Morgantown, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born in Morgantown on March 23, 1937, the son of the late Henry Edward Seaman and Cora Agnes (Forquer) Seaman. He was a former member of the Woodland United Methodist Church. He is survived by a nephew, Rick Seaman and two nieces, Debbie (Seaman) Corwin and Cindy Seaman all of Morgantown. He is also survived by his loyal pet, Heidi, the love of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald E. Seaman; one sister, Loretta Seaman Haught and sister-in-law, Dorothy Seaman. A graveside service will be held at East Oak Cemetery, Morgantown, on Tuesday, May 20th at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Bernard’s and Heidi’s memory to Monongalia County Human Society, P.O.
