Bonnie Clara Brewer

Bonnie Clara Brewer, 100, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born in Preston County, WV on April 21, 1915, the daughter of the late Charles A Murray and the late Zara H. (Knotts) Murray. Bonnie was a retired glass worker with Morgantown Glass. Bonnie loved to work hard and play hard. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and competitive games of all kinds. She was well loved and respected by family, friends and neighbors. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Nancy (Dan) Kirkendall of Morgantown; grandchildren, Becky Kirkendall, Gary (Susan) Kirkendall; great-grandchild Elaina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Obed Brewer, 5 brothers and 5 sisters. The family wishes to thank the Sundale family for all their loving care. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Tuesday, July 7 from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating Interment will be held privately in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
