Carol Greer Lunsford

Carol Greer Lunsford, 81, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. She was born in Logan County, WV on December 14, 1943 to the late John and Cora (Lowe) Greer.

Affectionately known to her friends and family as "Aunt Sis", she enjoyed cooking, listening to Elvis, sunbathing on the beach, getting her hair and nails done, and of course, she loved to shop.

Carol is survived by a great niece, Erica Tolliver (Donald) who was also her caretaker; nephews, Kevin Scott Greer (Pamela), Robert "Panda" Greer (Rema); niece, Marlene Greer Nelson; special cousin, June Moreland; great-great nieces and nephews whom she lived with, Brianna Greer, Kaden and Logan Tolliver, along with many other special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, James Lunsford; siblings, James Ray Greer, Sr., and Robert Greer; nephews, James Ray Greer Jr., Vincent Craig Greer, and Christopher Greer.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no public services. Carol will be laid to rest in her hometown in Logan County, WV.
