Catherine Straub

Catherine Darlene "Dolly" Straub, 57, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Leonardtown, MD on November 22, 1956, the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Guy and Anna Mae (Wykle) Guy. Dolly graduated from Summers County School of Practical Nursing in 1988, and went on to be Physicians' Assistant and a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 23 years. She loved WVU Football, Pittsburgh Pirates and enjoyed all types music, but above of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a extremely caring and loving, wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be deeply missed by all that knew her She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Straub, son, Jason Morgan, and grandson, Jacob Morgan; her siblings, Phyllis Guy Love, Jean Guy and Edward "Tick" Guy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Pellant, Aunt Dorothy Martin and Aunt Loretta Jamison. In accordance with Dolly's wishes, cremation services have been provided by Hastings Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. with Fr.
