Charles Gibson

Charles Junior Gibson, 68, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Ruby Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.He was born on Nov. 11, 1943 to the late Charles Fredrick Gibson and Lettie Mae Casteel Gibson.Charles was an outdoorsman. He worked for J & M Lumber Company for many years. He was very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.He is survived by his sister Mary Gibson with whom he made his home, a sister Nancy Hartley, girlfriend Nancy Sims, a special niece Virginia Hartley, a niece-in-law, Cristy LaMar and boyfriend Christian Kampos his ex-wife and best friend Shirley Gibson.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Ritchie and David Gibson a son Junie and daughter Cathy and a nephew David LaMar.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Thursday, March 8, from 3-5p.m. Funeral services will be held at 5:00p.m.with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
