Christine Ann Fazenbaker

Christine Fazenbaker, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Morgantown on July 12, 1945, the daughter of the late Howard Sanders and the late Josephine (Barille) Sanders. Christine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful home maker, and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Andrew Fazenbaker; daughter, Andrea Fazenbaker; granddaughter, Jocelyn Fazenbaker; sisters-in-law, Martha Fazenbaker and Shirley Shinkovich; nephew, Jason Shinkovich; and niece, Heidi Shinkovich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers-in-law: David Fazenbaker and Reuben Fazenbaker; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otha and Eliza Jane Fazenbaker. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Morgantown Hospice, Darla, Shantel, Andrea, Tara, Brian Detrik and Patty for their kindest and care given to their family. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown Friday, December 11th from 4-7p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, Dec. 12th from 12 (Noon) until the time of the funeral service at 1:00p.m.with Rev. Brian Detrick Officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
