Clara Mae Lease

Clara Mae Lease, 78, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Pierpont Medical Center.

Clara was born on January 3, 1944, the son of the Late Leonard and Mae Lease.

Clara enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed making crafts and dipping in the candy jar.

Clara is survived by four sons, Lee Moats and his wife Loria; John Moats and his partner Cindy McKinley; Robert Moats and his partner Crystal Smith; and Gary Moats and his partner Jackie San Juna; one daughter, Carolyn Hill; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary McCabe Edwards, grandsons, Samuel Lipscomb and Chad Moats; and son-in-law Greg Hill.

A graveside service will be held at Arnettsville Cemetery, 3804 Fairmont Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508 on Saturday, December 10, at 2:30 pm with Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating.
