Clarence Jackson “Jack” Vannoy, 81, of Westover, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Elkins on March 15, 1934, the son of the late Clarence Vannoy and the late Catherine Leona (Neese) Vannoy. Jack was a member of St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church and served his country in the Air Force and National Guard during the Korean War. He retired from General Contracting, was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was a longstanding member of the Izaak Walton League. In his free time, he was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Mary “Molly” Fusco Vannoy; children, Karen Rice and husband Terry, Pam Rakosi and husband Ron, Susan Arbogast, Michael Vannoy and wife Marcia, and David Vannoy and wife Melanie; his brothers, Barry Vannoy and wife Nancy, and Sidney Vannoy and wife Shari; mother in law, Virginia N. Fusco; and 24 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte K. Vannoy; daughter, Lori Ann Conrad; step son, Joey Fusco; sister, Wanda Jean Smith; brother, Bernard Vannoy; father in law, Albert G. Fusco; son in law, Michael Arbogast. Friends and family will be received at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown on Monday, October 5th from 5-8 PM. A Scriptural Wake service will be held at the church at 7:30 PM to conclude the evening visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church on Tuesday, October 6th at 10 AM with Father Carlos Melocoton, Jr. as celebrant. Entombment will follow at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Peace Garden Mausoleum.
