Conrad Victor Hoke

Conrad (Vic) Hoke, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015. Mr. Hoke was born in Philadelphia on January 27, 1945, the son of the late Ralph H. Hoke and the late Margaretta Marie (Coyle) Hoke. Mr. Hoke was a graduate of St. Francis High School and served his country in the United States Navy during two tours in Vietnam. He also retired with 42 years of service as a construction worker. He was a simple man who loved to spend time with his friends and family. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors in nature, especially fly fishing. He is survived by his sons, Conrad Hoke II and his wife Nicole Marie of Morgantown and Brian Todd Hoke and his wife Jessica of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Christian N. Hoke, Wyatt A. Hoke, Hailey Kay Hoke, and Nicholas Allen Hoke. He is also survived by his special companion, his dog Sammy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Hoke, who passed away in 2004 and his brothers. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Thursday, August 6th from 3 pm until the time of the memorial service at 5 pm with Reverend Kevin Cain officiating. Military funeral rites will be performed in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501.
