Cristy Rene Mcie

Cristy Rene McIe, 54, of Morgantown passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was born on November 30, 1960 in Morgantown; daughter of Robert Sr. and Betty McIe of Morgantown. Cristy was a 1979 graduate of University High School and attended Fairmont State. She was very talented and creative and also enjoyed sewing, painting, and crocheting. She was an animal lover and treated them like her kids. Cristy was very kind hearted especially to children and her beloved pets. She is survived by two siblings, Robert L. McIe Jr and wife Betty J. McIe of Morgantown and Eric S. McIe of Elkins. She is also survived by her nieces, Brittany and Rylee McIe, and her nephews, Anthony and Cole McIe. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Otto Sr. and Mae McIe; maternal grandparents; David and Madeline Henry and several aunts and uncle. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Sunday, November 15th from 2p.m until the time of the service at 4p.m. with Minister John Sausen officiating.
