Cynthia Marie Luster

Cynthia Marie Luster, 75, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home.

Cindy was born on April 19, 1948, the daughter of the late Chester and Barbara Podborny. She retired as supervisor of the clinical laboratories at UNC in Chapel Hill before moving to Morgantown. Her passion was dog training, having instructed obedience and nose work classes for over 45 years. She was a member of NADOI and director/owner of the HiJoy Hills K9 training center.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Michael Luster; sister, Lorrie Hoksch; brother-in-law, Marty Luster and wife, Jodi; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Luster.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jerrold Luster.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
