Dale Fazenbaker

Dale McCellan Fazenbaker, 93, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at his home. He was born in Preston County on May 7, 1922, the son of the late Emerson and Rosa Turner Fazenbaker. Dale served in the United States Army during World War II. He was well known in the Morgantown area for his woodworking skills. He is survived by his children: Nancy Ryan (Ray) of Newburgh, IN, Patty Fazenbaker of Morgantown and Gary Fazenbaker (Sandy) also of Morgantown; brother, Jody Fazenbaker of Preston County; sister, Edna Hayes of Preston County; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude E. Vanscoy Fazenbaker. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown Wednesday, January 20th from 4-8pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 21st from 10a.m until the time of the funeral service at 11am with Rev. Larry Buckland officiating. Interment will follow in East Oak Grove Cemetery.
