Daniel Joseph âDannyâ Baker, Jr., 33, of Fairmont Road, Morgantown, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident. Danny was born in Morgantown, on April 16, 1977, the son of Daniel Baker Sr. and Cheryl Burnside Baker.He was employed as a truck driver for Devonian Industries. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting guns, playing the drums and listening to his wife Melissa sing karaoke. His greatest enjoyment however, was taking his boys fishing and riding bikes with them on the trails. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife Melissa Fowler Baker, his two sons, Keilean Daniel and Logan Daniel Baker, his brother, James Joseph Baker, sister, Chelsi Baker and half-sister, Rachel Elmo, his father-in-law, Barry Fowler and Mary Jane Conley, his mother-in-law, Mary Fowler, his sister-in-law Chasity Eddy and husband Robert, his nephews Parker and Cooper Eddy and his faithful dog, Mingo. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James C. Burnside, his great-great grandmother, Sadie Headley and his uncle Don Baker. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Monday, May 24. Visitation will continue Tuesday, May 25, at Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church, 540 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 12 noon until 1pm. A funeral service will be held at 1pm in the church with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
