David Allan Clise

David Allan Clise, 69, of Morgantown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born September 9, 1954, in Morgantown, a son of the late Jack Milton and Doris Mae (Nichelson) Clise. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosanna Taylor Clise, who passed away in 2019.

He was an active member of CMA Church in Morgantown. He was part owner of Ruby and Ketchy's Restaurant and a long-time employee of Consolidation Coal Company. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and cheering on the Mountaineers. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

David is survived by his sons, David Clise, II (Holli Heiskell) and Adam Clise; granddaughter, Charleigh Rosanna Clise; siblings, Jane Dinardi (David) and Linda Solomon (Bill); sister-in-law, Carol Taylor; cousin, Gary Clise; special friend, Terri Solomon; and several nieces and nephews. He also included many of his coal mining, golfing, neighbors, and church friends as his family.

Friends and family will be received at CMA Church of Morgantown, 308 Elmhurst Street, Morgantown, WV 26505 on Wednesday, November 29th from 4 - 8 pm and on Thursday, November 30th from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am with Dr. David Gooden officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery.
