David Lee Lazzelle

David Lee Lazzelle, 66, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his residence. He was born on August 24, 1955, in Morgantown, WV, son of the late Theodore George Lazzelle and Victoria (Solario) Lazzelle.

David enjoyed playing music on his guitar with his dad and family. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes as well as hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He was also an avid Steeler’s fan. He enjoyed drinking a few beers, with a special nephew, Mike Lazzelle and his many friends.

He is survived by his children; David Shane Lazzelle, and Carmella Meadows, grandchildren; Nicole, Isabelle, Logan, Brooklyn and Mica, Siblings; Virginia Cutright and her husband Don, Arthur Lazzelle and wife Carolyn, Amy Bacorn and Companion Brett, and long-time companion Donna smith and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Theodore George Lazzelle Jr., and brother in law Bobby Bacorn.

Friends and family are to be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505, on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm and Friday, June 24, 2022 from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Donna Dalton officiating. Burial to follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
