David Arron Mccrobie

David Arron McCrobie, 55, of Bruceton Mills, passed away Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian. He was born in Morgantown on February 2, 1969.

He was a skilled welder and member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 152 in Morgantown, WV.

David enjoyed riding Harley's, vacations at the beach, fishing, and going on adventures with his dogs.

He was devoted to St. Mary's Orthodox Church in Westover, where he was a former altar boy. Above all, David enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his parents, the son of David and Norma Loya Smith; wife, Lisa McCrobie; daughters, Kathryn McCrobie and Makayla Stanton; grandchildren, Shiloh Myers, Davina Stanton, and Bristol Stanton; brother, Eric Smith and his wife Sarah; and nieces, Chloe and Avi.

He was preceded in death by his father, David McCrobie.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 1PM until the time of Panachida at 3:45 PM. Visitation will continue at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 19 West Park Ave., Westover, on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Slosky officiating.

Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 19 West Park Ave., Westover, WV 26501.
