Dawn Hill

Dawn Michele Hill, 43, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Cumberland, MD on September 11, 1969, a daughter of Gregory Paul and Sylvia Lillian Brooks Hill of Piedmont, WV. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her only child, Teyanna Boyd of Morgantown, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. "Miss Dawn," as she was lovingly referred to by her students, was a teacher at Kids Korner Day Care Center in Morgantown for 21 years. She was very close with all ages of children, but she loved her babies there. She was a graduate of Keyser High School, and had attended Potomac State College and West Virginia University. She was an avid WVU and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Tuesday, July 9th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, WV on Wednesday, July 10th from 6-9 PM and again on Thursday from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM.
