Delmar Gay "Bimbo" Nicholson, 61, of Beulah Rd., Morgantown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Morgantown on July 9, 1952, a son of the late Willard Gay and Arretta McDonald Nicholson. Delmar enjoyed painting nature, reading and playing with his grandkids. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara "Babsie" Dalton Nicholson; a daughter, Belinda "BJ" Nicholson and spouse Timothy O'Connor, a son, Willard "Willie" Nicholson; two grandchildren, Zacery O'Connor and Brianna "Breezy" O'Connor; two sisters, Melody Perry and Valerie Nicholson and her companion Larry Showalter; one brother, Barry Nicholson; several special nieces and nephews; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Dana Dalton and her husband Douglas, Mrs. Shelby "Jackie" Hart, Beverly Dalton and her husband Kenneth, Cindy Dalton and Thelma Dalton; and one brother-in-law, Reverend Francis "Jake" Nicholson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers-in-law, Larry Perry, Donald Dalton, Harold "Hoy" Dalton and Henry "June" Hart; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Nicholson and Wilma "Pee Pee" Nicholson; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Irene Dalton. Family and friends may call at Nicholson Chapel Church, Summers School Rd., Morgantown on Thursday, February 13th beginning at 12 Noon and continuing until 1 PM Friday, February 14th, the time of the funeral service with Reverend Francis "Jake" Nicholson and Reverend Elmer "Scoop" Nicholson officiating.
