Deno Dorinzi, 93, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Madison Center. He was born December 18, 1927 in Morgantown, a son of the late Attitilo and Genevieve (Focarelli) Dorinzi. Deno was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW #9916 in Westover. He worked for 26 years at Sterling Faucet and 16 years at West Virginia Publishing. In his free time, he enjoyed fixing things and tinkering around his home. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lena (Fraze) Dorinzi; daughter, Debra "Debbie" Beery and her husband Tim; granddaughter, Lindsay Spaur and her husband Matt; great granddaughter, Harper Spaur; and sister, Louise Reppy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Deno is also preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, John Carl, Albert, and Raymond Dorinzi. Private family funeral services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown with interment to take place at Lawnwood Cemetery.
