Dolores Ruth Fleming O'Brien

Dolores Ruth Fleming O’Brien, 91 of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, after a short illness. She was born December 3, 1929, in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Leo W. Fleming, and Ruth Montgomery Fleming. Dolores was a beloved mother and generous friend. She was a 1951 graduate of the West Virginia University Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism. She had been a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church. Dolores is survived by her daughters, Maureen and Dolores; her son, Michael (Jeff); her grandson, Eric O’Brien (LeeAnne); great-grandchildren, Katie, Adam, and Matthew; and her brother, Benjamin Fleming (Teresa). In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo W. “Jack” Fleming Jr., John Fleming, and former husband, Michael M. O’Brien.
