Dr. Kenneth Dale Mcintosh

Dr. Kenneth Dale McIntosh, 92, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, January 29, 2023, with his beloved wife by his side.

He was born September 29, 1930, son of the late Richard and Axie McIntosh.

At 16 years old, he joined the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged after six years of service.

He earned a PhD in Agricultural Economics, for 35 years taught and served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Chairman of Agriculture Department at WVU, and was honored with numerous awards and recognitions.

Survivors include his wife, Shi Juan Luo; children, Kenneth Dale McIntosh, Jr., Sarah Puglici, Allison Puccini; brothers, Andy Mcintosh and Foy McIntosh; and sisters, Pauline Rice, and Martha Ricker

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by brothers, Garland McIntosh and Howard McIntosh.

We thank WVU Hospice for all their loving care, especially Autumn and Jennifer.

Dr. McIntosh’s wishes for cremation are being honored by his family. There is no plan for public service, and per his request, his ashes will be buried in Arlington National Military Cemetery.
