Dwayne Scott Campbell

Dwayne Scott Campbell, 32, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born July 9, 1991, the son of John Campbell (Janet) and the late Julie Kaye (Blosser) Campbell.


Dwayne enjoyed many hobbies including anything outdoors. He was an aspiring singer, and loved attending Jamboree in the Hills each year, along with many other concerts and shows.


Dwayne was employed as a caregiver at a personal care home and will be remembered for his love and compassion for helping others. Dwayne chose to donate his organs as his final act of kindness.


In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Susie Miller (Bill); step-brother, Zack McCourt; step-sister, Ashley Oldaker (Jamie); uncle, Bill Campbell (Suzi); aunts, Vickie Hoffman and Debra Moore; cousins, Julian Hoffman, Ella Hoffman, Audrey Miller, Joslynne Moore, Kaylyn Moore; nephew, Donavan Black; niece, Mariah Black; great nephew, Asa Black; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Appa.


In addition to his mother, Dwayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Sonny Blosser, Lucy Maurine Campbell, and William Jack Campbell; and step-grandfather, Rick Cress.
