Edna Melvina Cutlip

Edna Melvina Cutlip, 85, of Summers School Road, Morgantown, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born in Bertha Hill on March 3, 1930, the daughter of the late Timothy Marshall Nicholson and the late Anna Creola (McDonald) Nicholson. She retired from York County Schools, Virginia as a custodian twenty years ago. She is a member of Nicholson Chapel Church. Edna is survived by one daughter, Lillian Rosier and spouse Leonard of Fairmont; one son John Cutlip and spouse Patricia of Morgantown; daughter-in-law, Nancy Cutlip of Morgantown; grandchildren, Donald Cutlip, Jr. of Kingwood, Teresa Delaney of Morgantown, Melissa Devlin of Fairfield, PA., and Michael Rosier of Fairmont; great-grandchildren, David Cutlip, Danielle and Jackie Devlin, Garrett and Loren Delaney; great-great-grandsons, Camden James Leach and Grayson Hunter Strosnyder; sisters, Lillie Grace Jenkins, Anna Pearl McMillen and Glenda Belle Corob of Morgantown and Mildred Winifred Ruble of Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Levi Cutlip; son, Donald D. Cutlip: brothers, Kenneth Howard Nicholson, James Timothy Nicholson, Eldon Maxwell Nicholson and Lloyd Benjamin Nicholson; sisters, Clarice Elizabeth Nicholson, Bessie May Nicholson and Etta Jane Shears . Family and friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church, 1326 Summers School Road, Morgantown, Sunday August 23 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Francis Nicholson and Pastor Kenny Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
