Edward L. Satterfield

Edward L. Satterfield, 83, entered his eternal home on November 17, 2022.

He was born December 16, 1938 in Fairmont, WV, the son of Maude D. and Russell L. Satterfield.

He graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1956.

He was a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church and the Morgantown Odd Fellows Lodge. He was a journeyman bricklayer for Bricklayers Local No. 15 Fairmont, WV for 50+ years. He worked in many local buildings including the original WVU Hospital and the Creative Arts Center. He served his country in the United States Army from 1963 - 1965.

He is survived by his son, Russell, brother David (wife Trudy), all of Morgantown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ginger to whom he was married for 59 years and daughter-in-law Stacy Satterfield.

He enjoyed NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr and WVU sports. Special thanks to the Staff of Pleasant Acres Christian Haven.

A private graveside service will be held for the family.
