Elizabeth Barill

Elizabeth Barill, 95, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1925, daughter of the late Harley and Louise (Christian) Byrd. Elizabeth worked several years at Davis & Lynch Glass Company. After retiring, she worked at Kroger and Chick-fil-A where she made many wonderful friends. She enjoyed baking, her morning walks, and traveling to Atlantic City and Branson, Missouri. She is survived by her son, Terry, and his wife, Beth; grandchildren, Corey and his wife, Alyssa, Christian, and Morgan and her husband, Keith; great granddaughter, Penelope; and son-in-law, Mike, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; daughter, Kathy; and siblings, Richard and Ernie. In keeping with her wishes, Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with a private family committal service at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
