Ellen Gatian

Ellen S. Gatian, 66, of Clark Road, Morgantown, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009, at Monongalia General Hospital.Ellen was born in Beacon Falls, Connecticut on May 4, 1943 the daughter of the late Arthur Clayton and Marjorie Eleanor Dowling Smith.She was an active member of the Covenant Evangelical Methodist Church, and was employed as a coordinator for the Valley Health Care System and retired after 23 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 45years, Ronald A. Gatian, her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Julie Gatian and her granddaughter, Caitlyn Gatian one brother, Theodore Smith of Beacon Falls, Connecticut and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister.Cremation services provided by Hastings Funeral Home.Family will receive friends at the Covenant Evangelical Methodist Church, Greenbag Road, Tuesday, June 30 from 2-6 p.m. Memorial service will be held at the church at 6:00 p.m. with Rev.
