Evonne Joyce Nicholson

Evonne Joyce Nicholson, 51, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on February 4, 1971, the daughter of the late William Orville and Darla Irene (Crabb) Nicholson in Morgantown, WV.

Evonne was a graduate of University High School in 1989. She loved art, particularly drawing and painting. She also had a passion for music and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her siblings, Sheila Burkle, Kenny Rago, William Nicholson and Shane Nicholson; and aunts, Denise Casperson, Dawna Hockenberry and Daphne Sheets; along with her loving dog, Pepper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Crystal Nicholson.

A Memorial Visiting will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 1 – 3 p.m. Her cremains will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
