Floyd Leslie Wiles, 86, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010, at his residence. He was born January 21, 1924, in Zanesville, OH, a son of the late Edgar A. and Emma Mae Fox Wiles. He served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps during World War II He received a B.S. in Forestry from Penn State University. He retired from the United States Forest Service. Floyd was a member of the Spruce Street United Methodist Church and served on several church boards. He was a member of the United Methodist Men, a member of the Society of American Foresters and was a member of the Kiwanis where he held several offices. He was a scout leader in the Morgantown area and was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf accomplishing 2 hole-in-ones. He is survived by his wife, Lois Irene Mowery Wiles, his children, Bill Wiles, Bob Wiles and Leslie Hubbard and her husband Mike, and his granddaughter, Sheila Sue Hubbard and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edgar Wiles, Jr. and a sister, Flora Ann Weist. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 3-5 & 7-9pm on Monday, December 6. Visitation will continue at Spruce St. United Methodist Church, 386 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 9-10am on Tuesday, December 7. A funeral service will be held in the church at 10am with Rev. Dr. John E. Allen officiating. A graveside service will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, in Youngstown, OH, with Rev. Craig Falkenstine officiating.",180238
