Frances Mcdonald Cobb

Frances Mae "Sally" McDonald Cobb, 75, of 57 Healthy Heights Village, Morgantown, passed away with her family and friends at her side Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at her daughter Debbie's residence, with whom she made her home . She was born in Morgantown on June 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Richard McDonald and the late Madeline (Vannoy) McDonald. Sally is survived by her children, Deborah D. McDonald and her husband Larry, Donna J. Uphold of Bridgeport, WV, Ginger Hall and her husband Eugene "Pete" of Morgantown, Richard J. Cobb and his wife Roberta and Linda Jones all of Morgantown, and Michael D. Cobb and his fiancée Tracy Heffner of Masontown, WV; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.. Sally was an active bowler at both Suburban and Sycamore Lanes. She loved doing Seek A Word Puzzles and playing poker. She was very loved by anyone who came in contact with her. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Saturday, December 15 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 Noon. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday afternoon in the funeral home with Brandy McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Summers Cemetery, Morgantown. The family wishes to thank Amedysis Hospice for their thoughtful care of Sally during her illness.
