Frances Pearl Hall

Frances P. Hall, 94, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born August 18, 1920 in Monongalia County, WV; daughter of the late Albro A. and Mildred R. Nuce Guthrie. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking for them. She was a member of the V. F. W. Ladies Auxillary Frances is survived by her children, Lawrence "Bud" Hall and wife Pamela of California and Doloris Mathias and husband Phillip of Naples, Florida; grandchildren, Eric and Bradley Hall, Phillip "Tad" Mathias and wife Lana, and Matthew Mathias and wife Robin; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Salisbury of Morgantown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren T. Hall in 1994 and several brothers and sisters. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her nephew and spiritual advisor Pastor Kenny Reed, Mon General Hospital doctors, nurses and staff on 4 South. A private funeral service for the family will be held at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown and interment will follow in Lawnwood Cemetery with Pastor Kenny Reed officiating.
