Francis E. Fumich, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011, at his home. Frank was born in Curtisville, PA on June 8, 1930 son of the late Frank and Anna (Marincic) Fumich.
He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a 1948 graduate of Morgantown High School, a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. After serving in the Navy he was employed with Sterling Faucet for 44 years and retired as a Production Manager.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years (married Oct. 25, 1969) Judith Darlene Stiles Fumich his sons, Frank Edward Fumich and wife Lisa of Lima, OH and John Eric Fumich of Clarksburg, WV grandchildren Olivia Francesca Fumich and Frank Nicolas Fumich.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Wednesday, October 26 from 6-8p.m. Thursday, October 27 from 3-5 and 7-9.p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 28, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 19 Jo Glenn Dr., Cheat lake from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30a.m. with Fr. Vincent E. Joseph as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown.
