Gene Dale Davidson

Gene Dale Davidson, 81, of Morgantown, passed away at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2022. He was born on September 10, 1940, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Frank and Estella Davidson of West Virginia.

Gene retired from West Virginia University where he worked as a custodian at Arnold Hall/Boreman Hall for 18 years. He also worked at Norteman Packing for 24 years as a truck driver.

He is survived by his son, Terry Davidson, of Ohio and stepchildren, Dixie Clendenin, Dana Davis and Rick Dailey.

In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Wanda Davidson of Morgantown; his first wife, Ella Mae Davidson; brother, Ray Davidson; and stepchild, Sharon Kennedy.

Friends and family will be received for a graveside committal service at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, 1290 Fairmont Rd., Westover, on Monday, April 4th at 11 AM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
