Georgia Goza

Georgia Goza, 91, formally of Carlisle Avenue, Morgantown, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, at Golden Living Center of Waynesburg, PA.She was born August 5, 1920, in Beryl, WV, a daughter of the late Raymond E. and Mary Jane Knott Weese.She was a longtime member of the Sabra United Methodist Church. Before retirement, she worked for Sterling Faucet, Hotel Morgan, and G. C. Murphy.Georgia is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Charlotte Tenney, of Morgantown two grandsons, James Tenney and wife Heather of Florence, KY and Christopher Tenney of England, United Kingdom three great-grandchildren, Dylan Tenney, Kate Tenney , and Mabel Forster-Tenney.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 42 years, Theodore Goza her brother, Boyd Weese four sisters, Ella Ray Bates, Fern Davis, Forest Shelton, and Lila Wickline.Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 152 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, and again on Friday, March 16, from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a. m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Charles May officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
